How Tracy La will expand student opportunities

Tracy La will fight to ensure our schools remain places of safety, stability, and opportunity for Garden Grove Unified students, families, and staff. As Trustee for Area 4, Tracy will advocate to defend and grow:

• Vietnamese and Spanish dual language immersion programs;

• Options for GGUSD students to earn college credit, like dual enrollment and early college programs;

• Basic needs and mental health support;

• Cultural inclusion, including Lunar New Year (Tết Nguyên Đán) celebrations;

• Career technical education programs in a variety of industries;

• Resources for students with special needs;

• Partnerships with local library systems to broaden student access to books, newspapers,and other educational resources;

• Green space and tree shade on GGUSD campuses to keep students cool and comfortable as they learn and play.

Tracy believes that all students should have what they need to succeed — whether they live in Garden Grove, West Santa Ana, Westminster, or Fountain Valley.
